The Secret Key to Sharing Your Island

Do you want other players to find your island? You need a special key. This key is called a Campaign. But first, you must sign a rulebook. Let’s learn how to unlock your island for the world.

How It Works

Think of your island like a lemonade stand. You built it. It is great. But no one knows it exists. A Campaign is like putting up a big sign. It tells people to come see your stand.

Epic Games wants to make sure your stand is safe. So, they have rules. You must read them. Then you must check a box. This box says "I agree." This is called Signing the Terms.

Once you sign, you can set a start date. You also set a budget. A budget is how much money you spend on the sign. If you run out of money, the sign goes down.

Let's Build It

We cannot write code for this. This is a setting in the editor. Follow these steps carefully.

Step 1: Open the Promote Screen

Go to your island settings. Find the Promote tab. This is where you share your island.

Step 2: Read the Rules

You will see links to two documents.

1. Sponsored Content Terms: These are the laws.
2. Fortnite Developer Rules: These are the game rules.

Click the first link. Read it slowly. Then click Close. Click the second link. Read it slowly. Then click Close.

Step 3: Check the Box

Now, look for a checkbox. It says you agree to the terms. Check it. You must also read Rule 1.7. Click the link. Read it. Click Close.

Step 4: Submit Your Campaign

Fill in the details:

• Start Date: When should the sign go up?
• Duration: How many days?
• Daily Budget: How much per day?

Click Submit. Now you wait. Epic Games checks your island. If it is safe, your island goes live!
