Patchwork Drum Player Device

The Drum Player (D-PLAY) is an audio generator device that provides the audio samples and knobs for basic drum audio. This device sits in the middle of the Patchwork chain that results in audio. You can select and customize the drum sounds you hear for each note input, then connect to a Speaker device to hear the result.

Option Values Description
1. Enabled Switch On, Off When Disabled, no audio data is generated.
2. Expand Buttons Closed, Open Expand the device to reveal more customization options.
3. Audio Out Cable N/A The Audio Out cable needs to be connected to a teal Audio In port.
4. Volume N/A Sets the volume of the device's audio output.
5. Preset Link Sample On, Off When a slot is linked to presets, the sample changes when the Kit Select carousel cycles to another preset. When a slot is not linked to presets, the sample will not change when the Kit Select carousel changes presets.
6. Sample Volume 0.0 - 2.00, default 1.00 Controls the volume for the drum sample.
7. Sample Tune -1.0 - 1.0, default 0.0 Controls the frequency for the drum sample.
8. Sample Shape -1.0 - 1.0, default 0.0 A combination of fade-in and fade-out controls. The overall effect of the knob is to make the sample shorter or longer by adjusting its attack and release time.
9. Selected Sample 0 - 4 The wave pattern for the selected drum sound.
10. Kit Select Order Up, Hip Surgeon, We Here, Going In, The Block, For Good, Neon Wave, Rock Voodoo, Break Up, Funk E, Rude Cat Cycles through available drum kit sample sets.
11. Note In Port N/A The Note In port only accepts a yellow Note Out cable.
