Designing Elimination Arenas with Devices in UEFN

Strap in! This section uses lots of devices that all need to work together to give players the optimal elimination experience. The arena is designed in a way that encourages players to gain a height advantage by sprinting, long jumping and mantling to the upper levels to pick off opponents from above.

Assigning Classes

Devices used:

  • 1 x Class Selector
  • 1 x Trigger

class selector

When players are teleported into the arena, the Class Selector will change them into Class 2. This causes no difference to the player, but it is important for when the arena countdown finishes. When the 30-second countdown is over, a global teleport will be done for everyone who's in Class 1: the players who made it into the arena on their own will be unaffected.

Place the Class Selector in the center of the arena, underneath the future location of the teleporters, and configure the User Options as follows:
