Using Ranged Weapon Items in Fortnite Creative

Offer Ranged Weapon items as a way for players to deal damage and status effects from a distance. Some Ranged Weapon items can be thrown to deal damage to both players and structures. Others, like the Shadow Bomb, can be thrown to give a status effect to players.

Ranged Weapon items include:

• Rusty Can
• Shadow Bomb
• Stink Bomb
• Boogie Bomb
• Boom Box
• Gas Can

Finding and Placing Items

1. From Create mode, press the Tab key, then click CREATIVE on the top navigation bar to select the CREATIVE inventory screen if not already displayed.
2. Click the CONSUMABLES tab.
3. Scroll to find and select the item, use the Search box to look up the item by name, or check the list of relevant Categories specific to the item you're looking for to filter the view.
4. Click the item, then click either Equip or Add To Chest.
