Third Party Assets in Fortnite Creative
With Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) you can import assets from Fab or other gaming asset marketplaces. Using third-party content is both a way to expand your island beyond the familiar Fortnite aesthetic, and a way to promote other creators by using their creations.
Giving attribution to asset creators is an important part of the island publishing process. Attribution means sourcing the creator’s content you used in your project and having those attributions visible in game.
Please keep in mind that the Attribution Tool has been provided for creator convenience only. You are responsible for complying with the requirements of any licenses you are a party to and Epic does not guarantee that the Attribution Tool will meet those requirements.
Adding Attribution
During the publishing flow you'll be asked to provide attribution for all third party assets used in your project. To source attribution, click the Add Attribution button in the Publish form. The Attribution popup apears where you enter all the attribution information into each field.
